Electronic proofing method: mainly suitable for color desktop publishing systems, using inkjet printers or dye sublimation printers to obtain proofs.

Computer-aided proofing method: There are soft proofing and hard proofing. Soft proofing is a computer-assisted color proofing system. Color images can be seen on the screen, but proofs cannot be obtained. Hard proofing is the use of data output by the color full-page imposition system, and proofs can be obtained on the hard proofing system.

Photographic material proofing method: electrostatic proofing method, color stacking method, color film stacking method. The photosensitive material coating base is attached and exposed to the corresponding dichroic net film to produce monochromatic cyan, black, yellow, and magenta, and then superimposed together to form a color image. Of course, each can be combined The single-color colored layer is transferred to the proofing substrate to form a color proof.

Mechanical proofing is also called simulated proofing, which is one of hard proofing. Under the condition of printing conditions: paper, ink, printing method, etc., the printing plate used in the original plate is installed on the proofing machine to print, and then the proof is carried out against the original or layout design pattern until the color, The tone, text, layout specification and size are correct, and the customer will sign and print.
