In order to facilitate the exchange of carton design, manufacturing technology and experience between countries, the European Carton Manufacturers Federation has proposed a set of carton type classification rules. Commonly used cartons are divided into seven basic types: A, B, C, D, E, F, X carton production materials.

1. White cardboard: food, cigarettes, stationery, medicine, cosmetics, toothpaste, clothing, daily necessities

2. Yellow cardboard: same as above, shoes, hats, crafts, food

3. Thick cardboard: 0.5-3mm, crafts, hardware, chalk box.

4. Glass cards: gift boxes, electrical appliances, high-end daily chemicals, food, medicines

5. B, E corrugated cardboard: electrical appliances, ampere combination box

6. Composite cardboard: paper/AI, high-tech products (pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, wine, etc.), paper/AI/PE, beverages, milk, alcohol.

Yellow cardboard: also called straw cardboard. The raw materials for production are 100% lime grass and wheat straw color paste, without sizing, filling, bleaching, and coloring. After moderate beating, the paper surface is smooth, and the cardboard layer is prevented by ordinary calendering method. Features: large water volume, large thickness, easy to warp in contact with water.

Uses: Generally used for the packaging of hardware products. Because of its high rigidity and good compressive performance, it can be used as a fixed carton, and a layer of printed label paper or decorative material is pasted on the surface of the carton. It is widely used in the packaging of handicrafts, clothing, shoes and hats. Composite cardboard:

The cardboard is made of aluminum foil (vacuum aluminum plating) and plastic film.

Features: Due to the combination of aluminum foil and film, the barrier properties, water resistance and heat sealing properties of the cardboard have been greatly improved. Cardboard with good printing adaptability and exquisite packaging.
